Raising University Students’ Level of Academic and Professional Readiness through Teaching Intercultural Communication and Digital War

In this qualitative action research study, the purpose was to explore if integration of an intercultural communication component (ICC), and its relation area digital war into undergraduate English course in Kuwait could improve preparation students for their future studies jobs. The study focused on insufficient acceptance cultural diversity, besides students’ misconceptions about war. Areas included; 1) improvement ICC knowledge, skills, values as well understanding war; 2) perceived incorporation courses with special emphasis topic educational eye-opening; 3) intervention methods ensure results; 4) student-perceived impact, any, module student attitudes behaviours toward other ethnic groups. Deardorff (2011) model competence used guide study. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews field notes, after content thematic analysis conducted.
